The Calaveras Mule Packers Challenge is a great, family friendly event taking place at Frogtown, the Calaveras County Fairgrounds, on October 24th and 25th 2009. Last year at the very first Mule Packers Challenge in Calaveras County, we drew crowds of nearly 700 people, and had contestants from all over attend to compete. The competitors at the Mule Packers Challenge are hardcore mule folk that are determined to prove that anything a good horse can do, a mule can do better! Crowds will enjoy watching them compete in many events such as barrel racing, pole bending, team roping and cattle sorting, as well as the most popular packing events! Come watch these mules do it all with the grace that is unique to these animals!
We will also have a BBQ dinner and music on Saturday night!
We need the help of partners to present this wonderful event, and we hope to see YOU on October 24th and 25th, 2009!
